But DSUK is pleased to bring you one of our sponsors who does just that! Not only is it important to have that great little kickstart to the day, but it’s always made so much better when the cup of coffee is great and tasty! That is why DSUK is pleased to bring you wonderful customers a lovely little sample of Lavazza’z delicious coffee in our goody bags at our next sale at The Music Rooms, Mayfair on the 27th & 28th April ! We absolutely love Lavazza here at DSUK and drink their coffee in the office all the time, and we think that you guys should too!

It’s all about D.I.Y!
Posted by: | CommentsAt DSUK we are firm believers of how important it is to re-use and recycle your clothes, these are not easy times financially and we recognise that it’s essential to offer new and exciting ways of spicing up your wardrobe, after all everyone loves looking fabulous at a bargain! Not only does D.I.Y clothing save your pennies but it’s also a sure fire way of ensuring that you’ll be looking unique on the streets. We have been running make work shops at DSUK for many years now, it began with the brilliant Barley Massey (fabrications1.co.uk) from Fabrications whose adorable knitted rose brooches went down a treat at numerous sales held in Chelsea and Mayfair!
Now at DSUK we are joined by the wonderful Comet at Goldahlia, whose unique and stunningly altered items give us great inspiration here at DSUK on how to redefine our wardrobes when in need of a little make over. However, if you’re no dab-hand with a sewing needle, then not to worry as Goldahlia will work with you to create ways of adjusting your clothing to suit you and refresh your wardrobe! So, come down to our next sale on 21/10/2011 at The Music Rooms, Mayfair and join in on our workshops where you’ll get the chance to create some delightful wrist warmers to help keep those winter blues at bay!

So if you want to re-create such classic and refined looks for yourself this season then DSUK’s vintage boutique, Lalita have the perfect selection of unique items for you to come and buy!
They recently featured an adorable donation of vintage pieces to the Love Cupboard at this Summer’s V festival, with the likes of Daisy Lowe and DJ Optic taking a keen interest in some of the beautiful bits of clothing they had on display! Lucy works freelance for DSUK where you can find her on the shop floor giving warm and friendly style tips to all our customers at our live sales events. We are so proud to see Lucy grow another one of her many talents becoming a sought after pilates coach!
What Lucy has said,
‘Apart from DSUK, Pilates is very close to my heart. I’ve always been an extreme sports enthusiast and suddenly became ill. Any sport exhausted me, until I tried pilates. I am still of the mantra energy breeds energy …
I started out doing it every other morning and then daily. I felt strong, fit and most importantly as I got better, my transition back to the gym and then sports was painless. I was converted!
Pilates really kept me fit, healthy and focused on a daily basis. I now have no back pain, walk tall and feel wonderful.
